IXC accredited to establish a corporate research institute, advancing its AX technology

IXC (CEO Nam Kichul), a Chuncheon-based local AI (artificial intelligence) venture studio, announced on the 12th that it has been accredited by the Korea Industrial Technology Association (KOITA) to establish a corporate research institute and is setting out to advance its AX (AI transformation) technology.

The company pursued the institute to expand its R&D (research and development) framework in response to growing AX demand from local companies and institutions. It plans to research AI transformation technology, work automation, quality management, and data-driven decision-making tools.

It will also develop AI-based software quality management technology; an AI document and deliverable management framework for public SI (system integration) and corporate work; and pilot-oriented solutions supporting AI transformation for local companies and small business owners.

A company representative said, “We will raise the quality and productivity of internal projects while developing AI-based solutions that local companies and public institutions can use,” adding, “We will not stop at attaching chatbots or auto-generating documents — we will connect the review, reporting, quality management, customer response, and data analysis processes that repeat across workflows to AI.”

Nam Kichul, CEO of IXC, said, “The corporate research institute is a proving-ground lab that turns problems in the field into products and technology,” adding, “We will develop the AI transformation experiments that began in Chuncheon into technology assets that local companies and public institutions can use.”

IXC has recently been pursuing AI-transformation businesses including an AI legal service, brand reputation management for local businesses, a public SI response framework, and AI-based quality management tools.
